RVC will render an expert support to the "Technostart:Ural" competition
Russian Venture Company will render an expert support to the Open competition of innovation mechanical engineering projects “Technostart:Ural” organized by the “United Mechanical Engineering” Group and the Ural Federal University named after B.N. Yeltzin. To apply for participation in the competition is possible before February 25, 2013, at the www.tstart.ru web site.
“Technostart:Ural” promises to become a largest in Russia open event for innovation projects in the mechanical engineering area. The experts from RVC JSC, “Center for Innovation Commercialization” at the Higher School of Economics, MC “Savings and Investments”, MC “Ermak”, “Ural Business Angels”, “BIT-Ural” will participate in the competition.
Final round of the competition will take place in Yekaterinburg and will gather notable guests from the “OMZ Group”, “Skolkovo” Technopark and Foundation, “Uralvagonzavod” Scientific and Manufacturing Corporation, “Sberbank Rossii”, Agency for Strategy Initiatives, Ministries of Education and Science, Mass Communications, Economic Development, as well as representatives of regional administration.
The competition finalists may present their projects to prospected partners and customers, and to compete for money and special prizes of the competition partners. The best projects will be supported by the corporate business-incubator at “OMZ Group” – “Factory of Innovations”. Additionally, all the selected participants will be involved in educational program and will gain an opportunity to work intensively with a mentor. In the mentor session, all-Russia technology entrepreneurship experts will participate, who will help to prepare projects for presentation to investors.
The important part of the competition events are the sessions on new business ideas creation on the base of the “OMZ Group” tasks of prospective development. The sessions are organized by the Ural Federal University. During the sessions – in the brain-storm format, using the materials from educational programs – the groups of students, post-graduates and employees of the University will try to create their own innovation projects. Than the projects will be evaluated by the experts in mechanical engineering area.
